community crush

Our Community Crush program is rooted in the idea that no good fruit should go to waste. Each fall, we gather apples from neighbors throughout Lamorinda whose backyard trees produce more than they can use, along with historic pears from Moraga’s town-owned orchards. The pears are harvested by dedicated volunteers from the Moraga Lions Club, helping preserve a piece of the town’s agricultural heritage.

Together, these apples and pears are transformed into small-batch, wild-fermented cider—bottled as a special release that celebrates both community and sustainability. Each year, we proudly donate our handcrafted pear cider to the Moraga Pear and Wine Festival, bringing the community’s harvest full circle in a toast to tradition, generosity, and local flavor.
